Comox Valley, BC, June 1st, 2017: June 1st marks the first day of BC Seafood Month, recognizing the value of BC’s seafood industry and its importance to the provincial economy, families, and coastal communities.
The coastal waters of British Columbia produces over 100 sustainable seafood products exported to both domestic and international markets. The ultimate way to celebrate #BCSeafood month is to attend Western Canada’s largest seafood festival, the BC Shellfish and Seafood Festival, held in the Comox Valley June 9-18. For 10 days, visitors and residents will have the opportunity to taste, explore, and experience British Columbia’s seafood bounty and industry.
